"As a Certified Thermographic Technician, Ingrid Edstrom has consistently
demonstrated a level of excellence and professional skill in operating a
medical infrared imaging lab. I have been pleasantly surprised by the
responses I have had in speaking with some of her patients. It is
obvious that her caring nature clearly shows through as she devotes
herself to each patient. Seldom have I found a more caring and devoted
person in this field. It is truly a pleasure working with her."

"Every year when Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October) comes around I am a saddened and surprised that thermography hasn't become more popular. Part of this is my mindset. I'd rather focus on breast health and ways to prevent breast cancer at the cellular level than put the emphasis on testing and retesting until you finally do find something to poke, prod, cut out or radiate. That's why I call October Breast Health Awareness Month, not Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I understand that mammography has been the gold standard for years. Doctors are the most familiar with this test, and many believe that a mammogram is the best test for detecting breast cancer early. But it's not. Studies show that a thermogram identifies precancerous or cancerous cells earlier, and produces unambiguous results, which cuts down on additional testing--and it doesn't hurt the body. Isn't this what women really want?"

"I have had thermogram screenings from 6 different certified thermographers, including one at what might be considered
one of the top clinics in the country. The screening and evaluation done by you was undoubtedly the best. Your thermographic
abilities, nursing assessment, and examining skills are remarkable. You are an individual who enriches the profession of
thermal imaging."

Infrared breast thermography offers women a vital tool for assessing breast health at any age, the results of which empower
women to make proactive changes to improve breast and overall health. This technology is a great option for women with dense
breast tissue as well, when mammography is not as sensitive to picking up changes. Ingrid has new, state of the art thermography
equipment; I highly recommend her to patients. As Breast Cancer Action says, "do something besides worry"; take action to have
your breast scan today.

As a surgeon living in a county with the highest per capita rate of breast cancer in the State of Washington, I feel obligated to do whatever I
can to aid in breast cancer prevention. Our patients live downwind from the Hanford Nuclear Waste Site and in an area of aerial spraying for
crops. In 2008 the State of Washington became #1 in the whole United States for breast cancer rates per capita, and my county practice area
of 7,000 people has the highest cancer rates in the whole state.
Technology today i.e. mammograms and ultrasounds detect cancer after it has started, however, they are inadequate in detecting problems before
cancer has started. Breast thermography is a means of detecting inflammatory areas in the breast that may eventually develop into breast cancers.
Once discovered, bio-identical hormone therapy can be initiated to hopefully prevent these areas from developing into cancer. It is exciting to
utilize a test e.g. thermography that can potentially help us prevent cancer rather than discovering cancer once it has developed. As a female
general surgeon who also practices gynecological surgery and bio-identical hormone
replacement, I have patients crying out for this type of technology
which can be used as an adjunct to mammograms and ultrasounds. Breast thermography would help alleviate some of the stress in women who have a
family history of breast cancer, have fibrocystic breast changes or have a mammogram with equivocal findings. It is not standard of care and will
not replace mammograms or ultrasounds in the medical world, however, I foresee using thermography more and relying less on mammography with its radiation
exposure. I am grateful to Ingrid Edstrom and her work with breast thermography and the Proactive Wellness Program making great strides in women's health
and disease prevention.

I am so happy I found Ingrid and Infrared Breast Health. The imaging and the time spent with her have helped me to
feel like I can take empowered and pro-active steps toward life long breast health and my health in general. That
means a lot to me. My appointments were relaxed and informative. Ingrid is very professional, yet extremely caring
and the environment of her office feels more like visiting with a friend than going to an appointment. I would recommend
her services to any woman who desires to take control of her health. I am glad I did.

I am thrilled with the process and findings from my thermogram. The process is noninvasive and yet the results are very thorough.
After my thermogram I was advised to have an ultrasound to verify the findings. The ultrasound disclosed all that the thermogram had
already found… Good results ! I am so impressed with Ingrid's knowledge of the body. Not only did she show me things in my breast
tissue, but she was able to spot something not right with my thyroid. For years I have struggled with brittle nails and slight hair
loss. After going to several Doctors and Naturopaths with no results, Ingrid was able to spot this immediately without even looking for
it. My nails are now strong and my hair is growing back in and I am so thankful for the bonus that Ingrid found during my thermogram
visit. I am so thankful for all you did for me. I will look forward to having a follow-up scan to see how things are looking in a few months.
Blessings to you, Kirsten H. Lake Oswego, OR

What a great use of this technology! It's exciting that my thermal scan can show me my level of breast health long in
advance of a cancer developing. I'd much rather use my time and resources to monitor my health, than to fight a disease
condition. I wish all facets of health care that I'm involved with would embrace such a progressive approach.
Great follow-up! Ingrid gave generously of her time in an energetic and genuinely sincere way to help me be proactive about
my breast health. She has compiled a well-defined and easy to follow program that pulls together the latest information about
breast health, research and products. The magnitude of her effort shows in her program and I am grateful; it would have been
overwhelming for me to do this myself.
Ingrid's concern to make this technology available to all women is an inspiration. It is medicine at its best.
This technology has delivered me from the annual scare, expense and medical protocol of having positive mammogram readings
on non-cancerous fibrous breasts.
Thanks again for your valuable time, efforts and caring.
Blessings,

I was very impressed when I heard about the benefits of Breast Thermography and the health promotion systems Ingrid has put
together in her Proactive Breast WellnessTM program. I own and operate ProActive Health Resources, a licensed mobile lab.
We perform biometric health screenings for businesses and organizations with the goal to educate individuals on taking
responsibility for their health. I not only utilize Ingrid's services personally but I encourage others to do so as well
because her efforts are supporting the power of prevention. It is in the prevention of disease that we can reduce healthcare
costs and save lives.

I decided to have breast thermography studies because I wanted more
information about my breast health than I got with a mammogram, the
standard " looks OK, come back next year". The thermography
appointment was very easy to make with Ingrid herself and the wait
time was short. Ingrid was able to provide accurate information about
billing and insurance reimbursement which is always good to know ahead
of time. The process itself was comfortable with plenty of privacy
and time to relax before the "photo shoot". Basically, that's it, a
photo shoot of your exposed breasts in a warm room and with the
opportunity to see images as they are developed on the monitor. No painful
compression involved. Ingrid had tons of information to share about what
she was seeing in addition to her breast health recommendations which include dietary
and lifestyle changes that have reversed some of the negative changes
seen on thermography. I would heartily recommend Ingrid as a breast
health practitioner and I believe that a better understanding of the
state of their breasts is crucial for women in the fight against and
the prevention of breast cancer.
